I’ll take any excuse to wear something sparkly! And this time of year is perfect to sport some shine! I am also a major denim girl, so I love pairing denim with a fun, festive top. When I found this Sequin blazer I went nuts! Unfortunately, this EXACT jacket sold out immediately. I searched high and low to find another one this long, but had no luck. I am linking the closest one I could find. It is the same cut and will totally convey the same classic, chic look. I paired a black crop top to play off the proportions of the long jacket. And I went with a Rag and Bone high waisted jean because mama doesn’t show more than an inch of skin in the midriff department lol! These jeans are currently 33% off. They are a splurge, but I can’t say enough about them. They are the most flattering jeans I own and worth the investment! If you are going for a dressier look, dark wash is the way to go! A burgundy velvet pump was the perfect color pop. These are under $50! My fabulous tassel earrings were made by my talented friend, Jenna. She started her IG page literally TODAY. So give her a follow @feltandfringe. They are available in all colors and are only $24.
And now the complicated part. My girls are now 7 and 9 and the days of tutus, huge bows, ruffles, and dressing like mommy are long gone 🙁 It seriously makes me so sad. So finding holiday looks for them and avoiding World War 3 isn’t easy. A Gold pleated dress was our compromise. It is basically just a soft t-shirt with shiny fabric at the bottom. I’m guessing that is why it made the cut. The idea of dressy shoes wasn’t met with approval so we paired it with Black converse. I’m not sure how, but converse always seem to look cute with everything! And my girls are not about to “match” me, but I love that our look tells the same story!

I hope you and your family are enjoying this amazing time of year! It’s such a fun and exciting time, but it can also be very stressful with all of the extra activities. In all honesty, I feel quite overwhelmed during this season. But at the end of the day, it’s all just details. This holiday season is about love, family, and celebrating the Birth of the King. So enjoy, rejoice, and be blessed friends!
XOXO
