“There is a shade of red for every woman” -Audrey Hepburn. I totally agree with Audrey on this one! For years, I didn’t wear red because of my hair and skin color. Last fall/winter I bought a few red pieces and I ended up loving them. I even wore red lipstick a few times. I know that is major, right? It actually makes sense to have a few red pieces in your wardrobe because there are so many appropriate occasions to wear it. Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, Memorial Day, And Fourth of July are the perfect holidays to wear red. And here in Arkansas, Razorback country, wearing red is a way of life! Here’s to hoping our football team isn’t on the struggle bus again this year! I know many of my local ladies will be on the hunt for cute red pieces for football season, so I wanted to round up some of my favorites! Almost all of these pieces are under $100, many of which are under $50! Even if red isn’t your college color, it exhibits class, confidence, is timeless, and can be worn year round! For these reasons, I firmly believe every lady needs a little red in her life. If you don’t want to wear it in large doses, it makes an amazing accent color too! I love a pop of red against black, gray, or white! Have I convinced you yet? You need something red! 🙂
A Few of my Favorite (RED) Things
As always, thanks for reading! Be bold and experiment with color. Is there a color that you are hesitant to wear? If so, what is it and why?
