We just got back from our yearly beach trip and it was amazing! As far as my outfits go, I bought less NEW clothing than I ever have for a trip. I am trying to be more mindful of my clothing purchases. I WILL say that a beautiful white summer dress is a MUST for a beach trip though! And this eyelet maxi is a stunner. This is actually my second year to take this Summersalt Two piece to the beach. It is so flattering and has good coverage for a two piece. Last year I wore a white crochet cover up with it, but this year opted for this Amazon finds sarong which is only $16! This suit comes in several color options and is such great quality.
I am so into blue and white right now!! It gives all of the summer and coastal vibes and I seriously can’t get enough of it. My blue maxi dress is almost sold out, but I’ve linked a few similar! I was excited to actually get Dan to wear some color! My sunglasses and straw purse are Amazon finds!
I’ve also been loving red this summer! I wanted a cute dress in this shade to wear to dinner one night. This fun red dress from Sail to Sable has the prettiest embroidery details and just went on MAJOR sale! It runs generous. I am wearing the XS with plenty of room!
As far as beauty products go, The only foundation I wear at the beach is color science tinted mineral sunscreen It is SPF 50, but it still provides coverage and evens out your skin tone. I also packed the Whip sunscreen SPF 30 It isn’t greasy at all and gives your skin a slight shimmer! Ok let’s talk about hair now. My hair is a disaster at the beach! It won’t hold curl at all and goes super flat. So I took my wavy iron and just gave it some subtle waves. It is really all I can do with my hair in that crazy humidity!
